Steinhauser Inc., a woman-owned, fourth-generation custom pressure sensitive and shrink sleeve label printer, has been honored with the prestigious 2025 Eugene Singer Award for Business Management Excellence by TLMI.

This annual award recognizes converters that demonstrate exceptional business practices based on the TLMI Management Ratio Study. Industry Insights manages the study. Participating companies can compare their performance across key financial and operational metrics. The award is presented to the top four companies based on size. Steinhauser was awarded in the mid-range category.

Tara Halpin, owner and CEO, said, “This award reflects the care put into making consistent, thoughtful decisions. Decisions that strengthen a company’s financial health while also preparing for the future. As a 121-year-old business, Steinhauser understands that lasting success requires honoring the foundation built before us while continuing to evolve. We operate from a clear vision: Delivering an exceptional experience for everyone, every day. While that vision isn’t captured in a single metric, it guides how we make decisions, where we invest, and how we define success.”

She went on to recognize the hard work of the Steinhauser team. “While I’m honored to accept this recognition, the true credit belongs to our team. Their pride in their work, their dedication to quality, and their commitment to continuous improvement make strong performance every day possible.”

The Eugene Singer Award was presented at TLMI’s annual Converter Leadership Meeting. There, industry leaders gather to connect, share insights, and drive the industry forward.
